Sabres Get First Win, Split Pair of Games Last Week
The South Huron Sabres Novice Girls C split a pair of games last week.  The girls played a solid game and got their first win of the season against the Mitchell Meteors on Monday night.  Goal scorers were Lauren Campbell with 3, Brooke Taylor with 2 and singles from Jesse Gorman and Nicole McBride.  Player of the game was Olivia Glavin with a very good game on defence.  On Saturday the girls put together a good effort but came up short 5-1 against a strong Stratford Aces team.  Player of the Game went again to Olivia Glavin who was outstanding in goal.  Lauren Campbell scored the lone goal for South Huron.  The girls travel to Mitchell next weekend to compete in the Mitchell Meteors Women's Hockey Tournament, beginning on Friday.
