Two Shutout Victories
The Novice Girls completed back-to-back 2-0 shutouts over the weekend, behind excellent goaltending by Olivia Glavin and Kyle Dalrymple.
On Saturday evening the team travelled to Lambeth and came away with the victory on goals by Lauren Campbell and Nicole McBride. Player of the game was Maddie Farquhar. On Sunday the team played in Ilderton and got goals from Campbell and Player of the Game Sierra Haines, who netted her first career goal.
Fantastic job by defencemen Brooke Taylor, Renee Campbell, Devon Farquhar, Dalrymple and Glavin at supporting each other in the defensive zone and keeping the puck inside the offensive zone. Excellent work on the forecheck and net-front pressure by wingers Ella Parsons, Ryan Schepers, Hanna Jones and Jessica Gorman.
Overall, the team is showing in-game benefits from their hard work in practice. The team continues their extended road trip in Stratford on Saturday and BCH on Monday.
