Novice Girls 'C' Off to a Good Start
The South Huron Sabres Novice Girls ‘C’ have started off the season very well, with an overall record of 8 wins and 2 losses.

At the Mitchell Meteors Women's Hockey Tournament the girls won all three of their games while scoring 15 goals and allowing none.

Goaltender Sierra Haines is playing a calm but aggressive style and is currently on a fantastic six game shutout streak.  Defensemen Emma Willert, Ella Parsons, Renee Campbell and Devon Farquhar have been rock solid moving the puck up to the forwards and keeping the puck in at the offensive zone blue line.  The girls have generated many goals off of shots from the point and by carrying the puck out of the defensive zone.

On forward the team has received balanced scoring from both lines, which consist of Jessica Gorman-Aydin Dalrymple-Ryan Schepers and Bria McCann-Kyle Dalrymple-Maddie Farquhar.  The forwards are doing a great job keeping their feet moving to pressure the puck and are making passes to the wingers in front of the net.  The coaching staff is also very impressed at how well the girls are back checking to help out in the defensive zone.

The “First Half” of the WOGHL season wraps up this Saturday against the undefeated Sarnia Lady Sting.  Keep up the great work ladies!!
