Bantam B Sabres Suffer First Loss
The Bantam girls lost their first regular season game Saturday at home to the Stratford Aces 2-1 but rebounded with a 1-0 win on home ice against the Bluewater Hawks on Sunday. In the game against Stratford the team came out flat for 2 periods but dominated the third to fall short. Leah Clausius scored the only goal unassisted. In Sunday's win Allison Gorman scored with an assist to McKenna Robinson for the lone tally. Charlotte "Chuckie" Finlay recorded another shutout with some key saves. Next action for the Sabres is Friday when they play in the Stratford Aces tournament. Friday they have 2 games against Kincardine and Lucan and Saturday they play against Bluewater and West Huron with the top 4 teams advancing to the semis and finals on Sunday. Go get em Sabres!!!
