Atom Girls BB Sabres Strike Gold at Woodstock Tourney
The Atom Girls BB Sabres competed in the Woodstock Wildcats Tournament on the weekend. The girls were up against some new teams that they hadn't faced this year. The team battled with a short bench through a lot of the tournament but you wouldn't know it.
The girls were able to go 5-1 on the weekend thanks to an amazing team effort. The Sabres relentless offence was unstoppable, their defence could not be beat, and their goaltending second to none.
The girls, who are known for being the best back checkers around, used that strength to keep their opponents chances down, and their offence including the 'D' made the best of every chance.
This is a very dedicated bunch of girls who take pride in every practice and game. Congrats ladies on your gold medal.
