Midget B Girls Win Ancaster Tournament
South Huron Midget B Girls team participated in the Ancaster Shootout tournament this past weekend and won all 5 games to win Gold!! It was a total team effort as they posted an incredible record of 20 goals for and only 2 against all weekend!!!
The scores were 9-0 versus Grand River and 1-0 versus Wilmot on the Friday and then Saturday posted 2 wins of 2-0 against West Oxford and 6-1 against Kincardine. This meant a Sunday morning Gold media game against West Oxford and they hung on for a 2-1 win. For a lot of the girls this is a three peat at winning in Ancaster as South Huron has won every year they have had this tournament!!!! Congratulations girls on a very determined effort and hard work as it was a total team effort!!!!
