Novice Rep Silver Stick Finalists - Off to International Silver Stick in St. Clair Shores
The South Huron Novice Rep Sabres played in the Parkhill Regional Silver Stick Tournament Dec. 27-Dec. 30.
The boys played hard but just couldn't pull off the win in the final game.
Game 1: Saturday, Dec. 27 boys played a strong game with a 5-0 win over Ingersoll
Game 2: Sunday, Dec. 28 boys had another strong game against Petrolia with a 12-2 win. This win put the team in first place and they received a bye to the semi-final game.
Game 3: Tuesday, Dec. 30 Semi-Final game vs Ingersoll the boys played a solid game winning 4-0.
Game 4: Tuesday, Dec. 30 Finals - the boys played Mt. Brydges and kept it close for the first period but the game ended in a 7-2 victory for Mt. Brydges.
The Sabres will advance to the International Silver Stick in St. Clair Shores where they hope to come home with the International Sliver Stick trophy January 23-25, 2015.
