Walter Gretzky Tournament Gold!
The Atom C Sabres took part in the 35th annual Walter Gretzky
Tournament on the weekend.
The girls entered in the B division which put them up against teams they had never faced this season. They played outstanding in the round robin winning all three games. They beat Hamilton 8-2, Orillia 6-0, and Peterborough 6-0 which put them in the finals. They played Orillia again in the final game and with another strong effort managed to bring home the gold with a 4-2 win. Walter Gretzky handed out the medals to team. Awesome job girls!
