COVID 19 SCREENING PROCEDURES

We ask all teams to review the information below and share with players, families and spectators. We will be using 9 different facilities during the course of the weekend and entry requirements will generally be the same at all facilities, but may vary depending the facility. Protocols requested at each facility must be followed.

  1. Masks must be worn at all times inside all tournament venues. This includes that coaches must wear masks on the bench.
  2. Players must wear masks in dressing rooms at all times until they put their helmet on to head to the ice surface. Players must put masks back on immediately after removing their helmet.
  3. Any individual entering a facility age 12 and over must provide proof of vaccination + proof of ID. Each venue will have a security guard/screener at each entrance conducting the checks. Security may be asking all players and coaches for proof of vaccination so please be prepared to do so.
  4. Contact Tracing: At each arena entrance we will collect name and number for contact tracing and health-screening on a sign in sheet.
  5. Each time you enter a facility the general routine will be to provide proof of vaccination + proof of ID for all age 12 and older, and then fill in the contact tracing and health-screening sign in sheet.
  6. Please limit time spent in arena lobbies before and after games. Players and coaches asked to leave the dressing room no more than 20 minutes after game completion to allow for cleaning and entry of next team.
  7. If any person in attendance of the tournament refuses to comply with the mandatory mask guideline, they will not be permitted to enter/stay in the facility.
  8. Please use hand sanitizer upon entrance to the facility and throughout your time in the arenas. Hand washing is the best way to decrease spreading of viruses.

Note: Please be patient with arena entry process as lineups may develop. Also, please be respectful with staff and volunteers responsible for implementing covid guidelines/restrictions. No harassment will be tolerated.
