After finishing the regular season first overall out of 8 teams in the West Division of the LLHFL (Lower Lakes Female Hockey League), the largest female hockey league in the world, the South Huron Bantam B Girls hockey team played and won 3 separate rounds of playoffs to become the West Division Champions. This qualified the girls to play in the LLFHL Championship Weekend Tournament – nicknamed “Best of the Best Tournament”, where they faced the other 5 Ontario Division Champions (including some US cities). The girls played 6 hard fought games all week-end against very high caliber teams, and after advancing to the Gold Medal Game, lost 2-1 against a very strong Whitby Team to bring home the Silver Medal.
Congratulations to the Girls!
