South Huron Minor Hockey Association would like to share an important and exciting update regarding the future of competitive boys hockey within the organization.

SHMHA is pleased to announce that the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) has approved the South Huron Sabres to compete at the A* level beginning with the upcoming 2026/27 season (*Pending OHF approval). This step provides players with the opportunity to compete at a higher level while remaining part of the South Huron Sabres organization.
SHMHA would like to thank the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) and the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) for their guidance and support throughout the process. This announcement marks an important step forward for boys hockey in South Huron, with the South Huron Sabres set to make the transition to A hockey for the upcoming 2026/27 season.
