Message from our President
I wanted to take a moment to reach out to the SHMHA
membership group... A little more than one week ago our hockey world abruptly
came to a halt.
The South Huron area was experiencing some of the most
successful and exciting hockey in its history and we want to thank all our
athletes and their families in this very uncertain time for how they have
handled this abrupt end that has left more questions than answers.
SHMHA is strong because of its continually growing membership, their families, and the huge community support from so many local businesses all contributing to the strength you see on the ice. When we do finally return to the ice wear the Sabres logo with Pride and Determination.... Even though a pandemic halted our season, we shall see the opportunity to come back stronger.
Thank you again to the athletes and the wonderful families that make up SHMHA.
Darren Kints
SHMHA President
NOTES:
At this time we would like to encourage all Sabres families to support our local sponsors whenever possible. Many of our sponsors can be found on the website, in our tournament books and of course on the arena boards at STA. We could not accomplish our goals without the support, involvement and enthusiasm of our dedicated sponsors!
Thank you to all those who have registered for the upcoming season! If you have not yet registered your player for the 2020-2021 season, please be sure to do so. We have extended the early bird deadline but will be processing/accepting registrations soon.
If you have not yet filled out the association survey, please take a few moments to do so. The AGM and coaching selections are on hold, but this information will help us be prepared when the time comes.
