SHMHA Update - October 20
Submitted By SHMHA on Tuesday, October 20, 2020
As we enter week 6 of hockey programming,
we want to say thank you to all of our hockey families who are working together
to keep programming running smoothly and in a safe manner. From those coaching
and working with teams, to parents and players carefully adhering to the new
rules and regulations.
We would like to remind everyone to
continue with arrival and departure protocols at
our 2 arenas – players should arrive no more than 15 minutes before ice time and depart within 15 minutes after.
As game play is set to begin shortly, please review the following information for SHRC
South Huron Rec Centre game protocols:
-1 parent/guardian allowed to watch game, per player – 10 players on ice means only 10 additional adults (this number includes bench staff) and will have to sign in for contact tracing!
- must stand/stay only in designated area
- player arrival no more then 15 mins prior to game and must exit 10 min after.
- parent/ guardian must exit right after final buzzer of the game. absolutely no loitering in the lobby.
Anyone exhibiting any COVID related symptoms will be required to stay away from hockey programming until they are 24 hours symptom free or until they can provide a current negative COVID-19 test result. If you are currently waiting for the results of a COVID-19 test, you are asked to stay home and self-isolate until a negative result has been received.
