PLAYER EVALUATIONS 2017-2018 Season - Boys

Players attempting to play on Rep or A/E* (for divisions that A/E teams are available) teams must pay the $40 evaluation fee and attend scheduled evaluations.

Players wishing to be considered for A/E only are encouraged to attend all sessions of evaluations in order to be eligible. You must also pay the $40 evaluation fee.

It is recommended that all players wishing to play REP or A/E* BE PRESENT FOR ALL SCHEDULED SESSIONS OF PLAYER EVALUATIONS.

The evaluation process will be as follows:

-          Each player is eligible to attend all skating Evaluation sessions for the $40 fee.

-          First round of Player releases MAY be made after the scheduled skating sessions and before the scheduled evaluation exhibition game(s).

Players not selected will be directed as to which schedule to follow on the SHMHA website. Lists will be posted. Be sure to read directions carefully.

-          Wherever possible, there will be Exhibition Game(s) for players chosen to continue in the evaluation process. Playing in an Exhibition Game DOES NOT guarantee a position on the Rep or A/E team, this is part of the evaluation process.

-          Exhibition Game Line-Ups will be posted on the SHMHA website.

-          Second round of Player releases MAY be made after Exhibition Game #1.

Players not selected will be directed as to which schedule to follow on the SHMHA website.

-          Final Rep team selection will be posted on the SHMHA website by 9:00pm the day following the final Evaluation skate or Exhibition game.

Players not selected will be directed as to which schedule to follow on the SHMHA website.

-          Those players that attend the rep Evaluation ice times who are not selected to the Rep Team but who wish to play on an A/E team (*where available) will receive at least one (1) session of A/E ice time for evaluation.

-          Final A/E team selection will be posted on the SHMHA website by 9:00pm the day following the final skate (or game where available).

-          It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to follow the SHMHA Evaluation schedule on the website (www.southhuronminorhockey.com)

-          The Player Evaluation Committee will handle, at their discretion, any special situations/problems on a case by case basis.

Regular Ice times for ALL teams will begin on October 1, 2017
