To Sign up for Coaching Qualifications, Trainers Certificate, or Gender Identity, follow these instructions:

 1)      Identify the appropriate qualification you require for your position and age level.  A breakdown of the requirements by level (INITIATION-MIDGET) can be found at:

 2)      To register for your training, set up an eHockey Account (or log in to your existing account) at:

 3)      For more detailed instructions on signing in to eHockey, read this:

 4)      Once in you have a profile created in eHockey Account, select: “Signup for a Clinic” from the top right menu.  You will be able to search for the qualification you need to obtain, and a list of in-person and/or online course offerings will appear below.

 5)      Select the course you wish to take, and choose “sign up”.

 6)      Have fun!

Please note that all costs for training courses will be reimbursed by the association provided you are listed on a current bench staff. Payment is required upon sign up and receipts can be submitted upon completion of certification. Receipts must be submitted on or before Jan 1st of the current season.


·         All Team Officials (Coach, Trainer, & Manager) require Respect in Sport (RiS) - Activity Leader or Speak Out!

·         All Team Officials (Coach, Trainer, & Manager) require Gender Identity & Expression Course

For 2019-20:

  • Requirement for Novice can be either Coach 1 – Intro to Coach OR Coach 2 – Coach Level Trained (or higher)
  • Requirement for Head Coaches Minor Peewee – Juvenile ‘AA’ - Development 1 Certified

REPRESENTATIVE (REP):  AE is considered a category of Representative (Rep) hockey, under the Centre’s Base Category


  • Assistant Coaches at House League require Respect in Sport (RiS)-Activity Leader or Speak Out! and Gender Identity and Expression Course Only . However, they would require the appropriate qualification listed in chart above for participation with teams from outside their House League (i.e. exhibition and/or tournament play).
  • In addition, if the Head Coach were not available to start a House League game, an appropriately NCCP qualified Coach would be required to act as the Head Coach.
