Welcome to the U15B 2025/26 Sabres hockey season!
My name is Jason Heywood and I am the coach for this season. I grew up in Exeter playing minor hockey and went on to play Junior, University and professional hockey. I then embarked on my coaching journey with Junior B and C and several years of coaching minor hockey in Exeter.
Hockey is my passion and I enjoy teaching it at every level. I believe in focusing on not only developing hockey skills, but also building character, leadership and teamwork.
Team unity is very important and I will create a supportive and encouraging environment where players can thrive.
I will expect core values of respect, positive attitude and work ethic from all players.
I look forward to the 2025/26 season!
