Welcome to the 2025-26 Sabres U18 Rep Hockey Season!
Hello everyone, and a warm welcome as we kick off the upcoming season of Sabres U18 Rep Hockey!
I’m Doug England, and I’m honoured to be leading this incredible group of young athletes as Head Coach for the 2025-26 season. I’m excited to share my experiences and knowledge of the game — whether as a player, a coach, or team executive with each of our players. Hockey is more than a passion for me; it’s a way of life. I hope to help each player not only hone their skills on the ice but also find growth in areas like self-discipline, critical thinking, and communication, which will benefit them both on and off the rink.
Our goal as a coaching staff is to create an environment that’s driven by hard work, commitment, and a passion for the game. We’re here to help every player reach their full potential, and we want to see them bring their best effort, attitude, and competitive spirit to every practice and game. We encourage all players to give it their all during evaluation skates and show us what makes them unique.
For this upcoming season, you can expect a team that’s full of energy, determination, and a shared dedication to excellence. We’ll provide a structured plan that includes player development, team-building activities, game strategy sessions, and more. Our aim is to create a supportive, fun, and inclusive team culture where everyone—players, parents, and coaches—feels like they belong and can contribute.
Last but not least, we will emphasize respect, hard work, and continuous growth while celebrating the successes of every player and family. We look forward to making lasting memories through tournaments, team events, and experiences that will make this season unforgettable.
