Atom Girls HL, U11, 2016-2017 (South Huron Minor Hockey)

Great job this weekend Ladies!!The girls spent their weekend at Pink on the Rink in Exeter and they sure showed us their skills!  They gave it their all and came home with a Silver medal!  It was a real nail biter in the semi with the 3-on-3 overtime and then on to the shootout to win it!! They advanced to the finals where they played great and never gave up!!Congratulations to Ella who scored her first goal!!  Great job!!

First, we wanted to take a minute and thank Chris, Rebecca, Abbie, Maiya and Hunter for opening up their beautiful home to us and hosting our Holiday party!  From what I saw, the girls had a great time and the Secret Santa was a hit!! Also a huge weekend in hockey!!  The girls have kept their winning streak alive with ANOTHER 2 great wins this weekend!!  You Ladies are fun to watch!!

Wow what a Weekend!!!  The girls battled hard against Mitchell to come in with a 3-3 tie.  They all played an excellent game and never gave up!! Moving on to Sunday – The girls won 8-0 over West Oxford!!  Jaden made some amazing saves and the girls gave the parents a show by setting up some pretty sweet goals!!  After this game, all of the girls are officially on the board now for points!!  Well done Ladies!! The girls drew names on Sunday for the Secret Santa and we will be having a Holiday Party on December 9th after our 6:30 game against Lambton. 

What a great game on Saturday!!  The girls really played as a team and had some great chances!  Unfortunately, we just couldn't get one between the posts.   Our forwards were quick to try to get past their defence and our defence was quick to get back and help Jaden out (who made some great saves!!) Great game Ladies!

Sorry for the late update but oh What A Game on the weekend!!  The girls gave it their all but unfortunately lost by 1.  We had 3 great goals scored by Robyn, Sophie with Halle and Avery, Jess and Robyn chalking up assists!  Jaden had a great game in net and made some amazing saves while Lila, Avery, Hailey and Ava on defence were able to get back and get them out of our end!  We also welcomed Ella to the team as a first time hockey player!!
