The U11A Sabres faced off against the Whitby Wolves on Saturday April 1st for the OWHA Southern League title.  The Sabres came away with a well earned and well deserved 2-1 win to claim the League Championship. After three tough playoff rounds that each went to a deciding Game 3, the Sabres were able to grind out a big win.  The Sabres are incredibly grateful for everyone that helped the team achieve this milestone. The U11A Sabres have advanced to the OWHA League Championship game after defeating the South Central Division Champion North Halton Twisters 2 games to 1.  The 3rd round series win was a tight battle that came down to a deciding game 3 on the road for the Sabres. After jumping out to a 4-0 lead the Sabres held on after a strong Twisters push for a 4-2 win.  The championship game now takes place this weekend.  Game Details:

The U11A West Division Champion Sabres will take on the South Central Division Champion North Halton Twisters in Round 3 and League Championship Semi-Final series.  Come Pack the Park and cheer on the Sabres in this pivotal 4 point series. Game Times are as follows:

The U11A Sabres are the OWHA Southern League West Division Champions after defeating Stratford 4 points to 2. The series was an incredibly hard fought series against a very strong Stratford team. With the Sabres winning game one on home ice and battling back in games 2 and 3 to earn a point in each game.
