Novice Rep, 2014-2015 (South Huron Minor Hockey)

Three players from the 2014-15 Novice Rep Sabres have made the jump to AAA. Nate Coward, Jayce Durand and Atley Rogers have all signed on to play the 2015-16 season with the Huron-Perth Lakers 'AAA' Minor Atom team. Congratulations guys and good luck next season. Make the Sabres proud!

The Shamrock Novice All-Star Game is slated for Wednesday April 1st at 6:30 in St. Marys. The following players have been selected to play in the game: Goal - Drew Neilands Forward - Jayce Durand Defence - Luke Bogart Congratulations to Drew, Jayce and Luke! Our Coaching Staff have also been selected to coach the game.

The Reps continued their hard luck ways around the net and lost game five of the Shamrock 'A' Semi-Finals to be eliminated and end their season. Although the boys played extremely well, we just couldn't find the back of the net when we needed it most. Mt. Brydges wins series 6 points to 4 and advances to the Shamrock 'A' Final versus the Strathroy Jr. Rockets. Game #1 Lost 6-4 Game #2 Won 4-2 Game #3 Won 3-2 OT Game #4 Lost 3-2 Game #5 Lost 3-2

 The Novice Rep Sabres lost the OMHA Novice "CC" West Championship to a very strong team from Twin Centre. Team would like to thank all the fans that came out on Tuesday and Saturday to cheer us on. Our series is currently tied at 4 points each versus Mt. Brydges. Game #5 goes Tuesday March 10 @ 7pm in Stephen.

The Reps begin our Shamrock 'A' Playoffs versing our arch nemesis, the Mt. Brydges Cougars. The series is a 3 out of 5 (6 point). The first three games are scheduled as follows. Games # 4 & #5 are yet to be determined. Game #1 Sunday Feb. 22 @ 12:00 in Mt. Brydges : L 6-4 Game #2 Tues. Feb. 24 @ 6:00 in Exeter (SHRC) : W 4-2 Game #3 Saturday Feb. 28 @ 3:00 in Exeter (SHRC) : W 3-2 OT The other series pits Dorchester against Strathroy.
