It's Playoff Time!
Hard to believe we are starting our OMHA Playdowns, but here we go! Our first round match-up puts us against our rivals the Ilderton Jets. Every game, whether it be regular season or exhibition, against the Jets is always high in excitement and intensity. I expect this series to ramp it up even more.
We have played three times this year, Sabres winning 4-2 and 7-0 in regular season Shamrock play, and the Jets winning 5-2 in an exhibition game. Both teams are even in talent, it will come down to who has the desire and determination to take their game to the next level. Winner of this series advances directly to the OMHA Novice CC West Final.
This is an eight point series and the schedule is as follows:
Game #1 Tuesday Feb. 3rd in Ilderton at 6:50p.m.: Sabres 4, Jets 2
Game #2 Sunday Feb. 8th in Exeter at 3:00p.m.: Sabres 5, Jets 2
Game #3 Tuesday Feb. 10th in Ilderton at 6:50p.m.: Sabres 5, Jets 3
Game #4 Sunday Feb. 15th in Exeter at 3:00p.m.: Sabres 5, Jets 1
Sabres win series 8 points to 0.
We now advance to the OMHA Novice CC West Finals.
