Schedule & Results, Novice LL1, U9, 2011-2012 (South Huron Minor Hockey)

The quarter final victory saw the Sabres advance to the semi-finals.....against the powerhouse Dorchester Dragons.....who had not yet lost this year in 23 games played. The Sabres gave it everything they had and scored the only goal of the first period to take a 1-0 lead. Dorchester scored the only goal of the second period, but it was a great effort by the Sabres to see the game tied at 1 at the end of 2 periods. The boys ran out of gas in the third with Dorchester scoring 4 unanswered goals to take a 5-1 win.

Thomas Brintnell made several big saves in net against the Dorchester shooters.

Tom Conlin picked up the lone Sabres goal.

The entire team skated and pressed hard.

We are so proud of the boys who finished the tournament with 4 wins and 1 loss.....and gave the tournament winning Dorchester team their toughest challenge of the tournament. Way to go Sabres!
