Bantam Girls B, 2014-2015 (South Huron Minor Hockey)

On the weekend the Bantam B Sabres girls hockey team came home with silver medals for their efforts in the Tournament of Champions for the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League.(LLFHL)

Needing only a win or tie in the final game versus Kincardine the Sabres tied 1-1 to clinch the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League West Division playoff champs.

The Bantam B girls hockey team went undefeated in 5 games to capture the gold medals at the recent Pink on the Rink tournament played in South Huron.

The Bantam B Girls hockey team this year are showing the true Christmas spirit this week as they are delivering gifts to less fortunate children and families at Ronald McDonald house in London.

 The Bantam girls lost their first regular season game Saturday at home to the Stratford Aces 2-1 but rebounded with a 1-0 win on home ice against the Bluewater Hawks on Sunday. In the game against Stratford the team came out flat for 2 periods but dominated the third to fall short. Leah Clausius scored the only goal unassisted. In Sunday's win Allison Gorman scored with an assist to McKenna Robinson for the lone tally. Charlotte "Chuckie" Finlay recorded another shutout with some key saves.
