Bantam B Girls Deliver for Christmas
The Bantam B Girls hockey team this year are showing the true Christmas spirit this week as they are delivering gifts to less fortunate children and families at Ronald McDonald house in London.

After doing some brainstorming on what they should do for Christmas gift exchange amongst them and after already having a team outing (laser tag in London) the idea of buying a small gift and delivering it to less fortunate children at sick kid's hospital was agreed to. With all the red tape and necessary information it was found to be easier with the help from our local McDonalds to do the same thing but at the Ronald McDonald house in London. The girls will be taking gifts with them this Thursday night (December 18th) to the families in the hope to bring some cheer and smiles to some children and families. Anyone wishing to help them in their quest and would like to buy an unwrapped gift is encouraged to see any team member or contact Cathi Clausius ([email protected]) or Paula Gorman ([email protected]) to arrange a pick up before Thursday. Christmas spirit is high on this team as they have been in the giving mood all year as they have been giving other teams in their league loss after loss but now will have gone one step farther and give kids something they will like. Good Luck girls on the thoughtful adventure!!!!
