A Good Weekend at the Stratford Aces Tournament
The Atom BB Sabres took
part in the Stratford Aces Tournament this past weekend. The team
tackled the challenge of the 'A' division.
The girls faced off against London, St. Thomas and Stratford in the round robin and came away with three ties. This put them in an exciting semi final game against Stratford. Down 2-0 with only one minute remaining the Sabres scored with their goalie pulled. On the attack for the rest of the game, the girls battled desperately to try to score, but were unable to put one in. The girls all had an amazing weekend only giving up 4 goals in 4 games in a very strong division. The coaching staff are very happy with the rate of improvement of these young ladies! Keep working hard!!
