Sabres Win League Title
The U11A Sabres faced off against the Whitby Wolves on Saturday April 1st for the OWHA Southern League title.
The Sabres came away with a well earned and well deserved 2-1 win to claim the League Championship. After three tough playoff rounds that each went to a deciding Game 3, the Sabres were able to grind out a big win.
The Sabres are incredibly grateful for everyone that helped the team achieve this milestone. To all the parents that got the players to all the practices, extra sessions, and encouraged their player during off-ice shooting and building their confidence up during the season, your dedication has helped their dedication.
Sabres Now Prepare for Provincials:
Now that the league playoffs are completed, the Sabres are gearing up for the Provincial championships April 14-16th. The Round Robin Schedule has been posted on the team calendar ;
Friday April 14th 9:30AM vs Napanee Crunch
Friday April 14th 4:15PM vs Scarborough
Saturday April 15th 9:45AM vs North Halton Twisters
