Novice Girls C, U9, 2013 - 2014 (South Huron Minor Hockey)

The South Huron Sabres Novice C Girls are very excited to be entered into the 2014 OWHA Provincial Championships, taking place on April 10th-13th in the GTA. 

The Novice Girls completed back-to-back 2-0 shutouts over the weekend, behind excellent goaltending by Olivia Glavin and Kyle Dalrymple.  

The South Huron Novice Girls came away with a win, loss and tie over their past 3 games, and continue to steadily improve.

The South Huron Novice Girls participated in the Mitchell Meteors Women’s Hockey Tournament over the past weekend.  The girls came away with an 0-3 record, with losses of 1-0 to Waterloo, 6-0 to eventual champion Sarnia, and 4-1 to Ilderton.  Despite the losses, the girls continue to show real signs of improvement that have the coaching staff looking forward to good things ahead.

The South Huron Sabres Novice Girls C split a pair of games last week.  The girls played a solid game and got their first win of the season against the Mitchell Meteors on Monday night.  Goal scorers were Lauren Campbell with 3, Brooke Taylor with 2 and singles from Jesse Gorman and Nicole McBride.  Player of the game was Olivia Glavin with a very good game on defence.  On Saturday the girls put together a good effort but came up short 5-1 against a strong Stratford Aces team.  Player of the Game went again to Olivia Glavin who was outstanding in goal.  Lauren Campbell scored the lone goal ...
