This past saturday dec 14th the east lambton eagles came to the HP for little visit.
The boys came out pretty flat to start the game but got things into gear about half way through the first period. I think the broken Zamboni and the snowy ice played a factor as well. Special thanks going out to our local cinematographer and ice scraper Jason "Spielberg" Wein for his ability to multitask.
Back to the action on the ice... OH henry was up to the task when called upton once again recording his second shut out of the year. His quick feet and large frame helped keep the puck from bulging the twine on numerous occasions.
However, on this day our other goalie and offensive guru Gideon "the Grocer" Lavier was a one timing maniac on the loose. Netting 3 goal in this afternoon affair. His quick stick and awesome positioning led to his best offensive game of the year. This performance led The Grocer to the player of the game!
Shout out to a couple birthday boys as well saturday. Cosmo Kramer and Ninja Glavin, HBD fellas!! hope you enjoyed your day!
reminder this week there is practice tuesday night with the two major novice teams combined and limited number so be sure to go if available and take advantage of the full ice drills.
Thursday there is nothing as we cancelled it, enjoy the day off. practice saturday at 2 with 1 tonne tilley leading the way.
